Taurantula Spider |
|||||||||||||
| This is a four foot long taurantula carved into the outside of the cabin. The story of how the taurantula wasp stings the spider, hauls him into his nest and lays the eggs inside his body interested the residents and resulted in a commission to carve this image. The big surprise was some visitors reaction to it. A larger number than one would expect of people have a visceral response to spiders. | |||||||||||||
