Here we see the tiles clearly before the sanding and finish steps. The tiles were 5 degrees off of 90 degrees finished on one side. This meant that the grain only went one way. Had they been square, I would have had to study each tile to see the grain which was hard to see. With the angled tiles I could use the braile method to get the grain to go the right way.
