Hi to all,
This year we have to get our holiday cards out early because we have new addresses for our email and home. I am so bad at organizing a snail mail thing that I am resorting to email. But never fear as Isvar is on the job. He is our outsourced homeland security guy in India who make sure our mail is safe for democracy and approved by the authorities.
Last Christmas we visited Flavia's family in Illinois and Minnesota. It was our last Christmas with Flavia's mother, Marie. She died suddenly in March. She is now dancing with her husband Sidney of over sixty years on the big dance floor.

My artwork continues, I recieved two new commissions and finished a third. The finished one is the Leg sculpture. More on the new ones next year. We had a flood that almost took my studio away. The fire marshal told me to evacuate. It was a very strange feeling to walk away from one's life's work and not know if it will be there tomorrow. The water came within inches of the studio floor. Half the yard on the creek side of the studio was washed away.
Flavia's daughter Kelly and her husband, Mark, welcomed a new baby girl Clare, in August. Flavia flew out to Minnesota to welcome her and show her the ropes. She joins her sister and five other cousins. Flavia now has seven grandchildren.
